Keeping up to date with technology

This is a new FET subject. It is very dynamic as technology changes constantly. It is a subject that equips learners with skills for the work place and home use.

This subject involves a theoretical component where learners become familiar with the correct terminology for all the computer parts, their functions and how a computer operates. A learner is also expected to be able to identify computer parts; assemble a computer; learn what to look for when purchasing a computer for home or office use; and to keep up to date with the latest technology. They will also learn how to trouble shoot and solve problems as well as how to install/uninstall software,computer-applications-tech.
